The summer festival mecca has gotten it right again with this band, who I certainly see being a big draw on the scene for a long time. Had a chance to catch a bit of their performance opening for STS9 in Madison, WI.. and wish I had skipped the bar next door to see the whole thing. Malwai is a tight jam, and there is awesome rhythm to Chasse. Zaouli gets the crowd howling before sending them off to the depths of human depravity.
